Title: Fly Fishing in the Pacific North West
Post by: Mike Crenshaw on June 27, 2019, 11:43:59 AM
I'm planning a trip to Portland, OR to visit my son and his family. Being retired time is not much of an issue for me and I want to take a few days to punch an item on my bucket list, fly fishing in the PNW.  Looking for recommendations for some good streams or guide services, preferably in Oregon, Washington, Idaho or Montana.  What say you all?

The Deschutes, around Maupin for Redsides. Steelies should be just starting to meander into the lower river. The John Day for smallmouth bass. The upper Mackenzie is a favorite for trout. Just about any river or stream in our mountains will produce.
