Also, Marietta Sportscar and Cycle (Guzzi dealer) <10 miles.

But an Orwig on hand is worth two dealers in a bush..

Wow, the shotgun approach. He installed off brand injectors , used fuel pumps, new map.

Hopefully he didn't introduce more issues.

It was fine w/I left it months ago. Used & abused when he bought it. James has been doing it himself, he is an IT guy that well understands the system.
60mi of traffic both ways of travel. The reason I retired in the 1st place is exposure, cost me lots since being here in GA.
Now read Harpers complaint,
James has my # and the phone hasn't rang.

There are some other issues going on for him..
He was feeling that he'd asked alot from you already & reluctant to ask for more. He was looking for a dealer to take this & fix it. Otherwise he'd have to sell it.
I thought that was too extreme. Don't take offense, it wasn't mean that way.

No offense taken on any of it, I think the thing was messed w/ before he got it. Could still have dissolved rubber in the system or TPS has been reset to a weird place.              He & I grew up 3mi from ea other. His Dad was a Kawasaki wrench in a shop 10mi down the rd..
I have project bikes sitting till more $ comes in, welcome to the crowd.

Yeah, the prev fuel pump was a mess. The used replacement was stock and was pulled off a wreck. It was not modified. I grabbed the off brand injectors due to cost and concerns that the old fuel pump might have melted a bit and messed up the stockers. Ran tip top for 2 months.
It's just weird seeing a similar problem occur when none of those offending parts on the bike.
I would consider replacing EVERYTHING..fuel pump, injectors and stepper..all OEM new...but fearful the same issue would still be there...and I'd be out another grand.
I am concerned the old fuel pump might have contaminated things..but the only things left to affect are the cylinders and valves. Just about everything upstream was replaced.
