The Duraham café in Kansas was largely swept clean out of business, and will not reopen. They were one of those small German restaurants--which used to be more common--across Kansas. One by one...
The menu was never complicated. It was printed on the white board and never seemed to change.
Durham is on the old Santa Fe Trail, which you can still find if you look.

That is sad , we are losing so much of our small town culture . Durham is just North of Gliderjohn's place , an area I am familiar with .
I've actually eaten in that little place , probably 1992 or so .

Permanently out of business? If so how sad. A great destination ride.

These places are hard to kill, so who knows? It'll be new owners if it happens.

I met an old work buddy there for breakfast, about 8 years ago. Lovely little place, and I bought some of the best bratwurst I've ever had in my life from them. Bummer to hear.
