Title: Centauro injectors

I sent out the injectors for my 97 Centauro they cleaned up good and are working fine but the filters on the injectors are falling apart and the  place I sent them does not have any replacement filters anymore for this style (side feed). From what I can tell they are a green Marelli 1WP72,Ducati and Harley used them on some bikes the place said. Would just running a good inline to each injector filter be okay? I may have no choice. Ethanol breaks them down according to the service person.

Would it be possible to remove the old ones and replace just the screen portion with fuel pickup screen material?

There’s a lot of pressure in those fuel lines.  I wouldn’t risk a cheap inline filter.

If I can get the old filters off with destroying the rubber part (was told us a hair dryer) I'll try and replace it.
