Still waiting for my V85TT to be delivered to Hamlin's in CT. If you live in the US and got yours, what STATE?

Cam,
Sorry to hear about the delivery delay for you bike.
Let me know when you are going to pick it up and i'll swing by the shop for a meet and greet.

My guess it's not geographical, but it is that top Guzzi dealers are priority, especially if they are big Aprilia dealers. Example AF1 has a grey one on display on their site.
My small local dealer is in the dark.
-
See if world wide in west Chester or the Manhattan shop has them in stock.
-
Cadre Cycle in Cincinnati has them.

Actually reports have been trickling in on ADV rider that make it sound QUITE geographical. Even AF1 is likely that as much as anything else. The reports are radiating out from the Texas distribution center after the ship landed on the Gulf Coast.
Reports to date include:
TN (one of the earliest), MN, MI, NC, OH, CA, and WA in roughly that order give or take a few.
MA still waiting - CT still waiting...
-
I got mine at Team Charlotte Motorsports in North Carolina ( ask for Tee Caldwell ). Along with my Adv one, another like mine was picked up in late June. Tee still has a Grey one he is using for display/demo. I believe he has a second order in as well.
-
I saw 4 or 5 V85TT's at AF1 in Austin TX last week one had a Y pipe and a Agostini exhaust

Bikes are in at Sloans in TN. They are getting 6 in the first shipment.
-
As far as I understand, quantities of "6" seems to be the norm.

On Any Moto in Tucson has said they are expecting their 2 on Thursday. I think one is sold already (not to me).

I'm pretty sure Cam has been in direct contact with Jim more than once about this.
Actually I believe he said the MCO was in hand last week.
-
Jim's a straight up as they come.

JB, RatGuzzi picked his up from AF1 last week and rode it 1,000 plus miles back to Wonder Lake, IL. He said he had to use a hacksaw blade to modify the uncomfortable seat. Boy howdy, if the seat is uncomfortable for the mega miler like JB it must be bad!

JB bought a SWM, not a Guzzi.

Thanks Chad. The fermented turnips messed up my mind.

Hell, I've waited this long what's another week or two. And yes, I am regularly in touch with Jim. It's out of his control. He'll need some time to prep it and add the accessories I ordered.
Damn Nick, I thought you made me a mug!

Xtreme powersports accident md. Shows them in stock on there website.

Leo's near mpls has a demo sitting out front, just saw it when I passed by there today.

i rode cadre's this time last week. they also had a ronald mcdonald available.

I picked up my red/white today at Cadre in Cincinnati today. All my accessories were in and installed. All 3 pieces of the luggage and brackets, center stand, engine guards, and tall windshield. I think mine is the first to have the luggage as it just arrived in the same time frame as the bike. Enzo also installed a pigtail for a trickle charger. He said they do that on all their bikes. Nice, thoughtful touch. He said they have sold 8 V 85's and he has one yellow/white and one red/white available. He does have several people very interested in them so they may not be around long. I think he said he is going to get 2 more in September. I can't express how visually impressive this bike is in person. The white paint is pearl with nice "depth" to it, a richness if you will. It is not just a run of the mill monochromatic white. A few other points;
1. Enzo said first check up is 1200 miles.
2. Bike comes with synthetic. ( I think Kev already confirmed this)
3. The taller windshield looks good, in proportion to the bike in my opinion. Haven't ridden with it yet so report to come.
4. 2 year warranty.
5. Enzo received/installed a software upgrade from Moto Guzzi to the computer module under the seat. He thinks this is the MIA which allows your phone to pair with the bike. If this is true, then that is an upgrade which doesn't have to be purchased now as an extra. I cannot confirm this because I haven't played with it yet. If it is true, nice bonus.
-
I knew I forgot something. The center stand works really well with little effort. Very pleased with that.

...and a few pictures too! Sounds like a fun day...nothing more enjoyable than picking up a new bike!

I asked our European owners if they got the MIA device included with their bike and they no, I suppose US models might come with it but I'd be very surprised.

tommy: are you from our area? i am in northern ky., wondered if i might see it on the road locally.

XPS in Accident Maryland lists 3 on their site.

Like I said, radiating out from the distribution center - New England is gonna get em any second now...any second!
-
Just for the suspenders crowd, all Guzzi have come with synthetic since at least 1999, if not earlier.
-
blu Guzz I am in central Ohio northwest of Columbus about 1/2 hour, so unlikely unless I am doing a ride in your lovely state.

OKC dealer has gotten 3 as of last weekend. Two of which are sold/gone and a grey one as a demo that Don, owner of Motive Cycleworks, is riding all the time. He said he is trying to get more.

They are slowly trickling through the US right now.
Portland & Seattle (Kirkland) both have reported to have at least 2 bikes on the lot right now.
Meanwhile Canada...*cricket*... :weiner:

As I mentioned earlier, TX.

I saw a gray one at Erico in Denver last week.... Sorry, Cam....

Cam’s bike is probably stuck in traffic on the Jersey turnpike in route to Connecticut.

So true. Or the truck couldn’t afford the tolls.

Moto Richmond confirmed yesterday that their two are on the way.

Richard went last week to pick up his from GP Cycles in San Diego. He's lives in PHX.

I spoke with GP late last week. A Richard was mentioned and his red/yellow/white bike was there. GP had four in initial stock, three were by then gone, eleven total have been ordered so likely one is in current stock with seven more incoming. I kidded Paul Lima about this being the next Gran Canyon in terms of sales potential and he reminded me that GP sold approximately sixty GCs way back when, quite a number of them going to Mexico.

"Missed it by that much!" (Get Smart) It's to replace his wadded up Cal 1400 Touring. He didn't get hurt and his full coverage on a 75K miles bike paid off. I told him that it's a rough way to get a new bike plus he doesn't bounce as well.
-
My V85 is now at Hamlin’s being prepped and accessories added. Now I need to get some time off to go pick it up!

I spent two hours on the George Washington bridge last summer, making it four hours plus from Newark to Norwalk.
Hope that was in a car, because I usually split lanes on the bike over the GWB. I don’t believe that I have ever seen a highway patrol vehicle on that bridge in the last 40 +years.
-
"I usually split lanes on the bike over the GWB." Me too! :thumb: NJ and NY side of the bridges too. If'n y'all don't. Youse could be stuck in traffic a very long time.
-
I stopped by the shop to have a new battery installed and the rats nest of accessory wiring cleaned up and the nice man at the shop suggested why spend money on a new battery when I can get a whole new bike.
He showed me a bike the he was prepping and suggested that the the deposit holder(some guy in NJ) would probably be better off with a used and highly accessorized V7.
