Title: New (to me) Bikes in the Garage
Post by: mjptexas on July 25, 2019, 07:47:52 PM: So for several years I've had the desire for either a 'classic' bike or a 'project' bike I could resto-mod. Yesterday I bought both:

I picked up a 1975 Honda CB400f and a 1976 Honda CB550f. Both run (sort of) and both need some work. The 400 will be my classic and the 550 my resto-mod. Back in the 70s I had a number of different first generation CB 4 cylinders, but never a 400. Have wanted one off and on for some time.

In '76 I was riding a CB550k. Saw my first MG V7 Sport at a dealer. Love at first site, but way out of my price range at the time.

The whole bike was a hit style wise.. really one of the best looking bikes built in the 70's!!!

Four cylinder Hondas of the 70s by the hundreds, in every condition from as-new to parts-bikes ....
