In honor of the iconic Muppet Movie turning 40 years old, today and to brighten everyone's day a bit, I thought I'd post this. Call it childish, if you like, but I don't know anyone who can hear this song without it making them smile and feel at least a bit nostalgic and whimsical. Go ahead, try it.

Ahhh... the song of my youth.... I grew up watching Kermit, Piggy, Scooter, Fozzie, and the rest of the gang. :thumb:
But yeah, Rainbow Connection and It's not Easy Being Green.... excellent songs.

My Muppet connections:
Circa 1956 I played Baby New Year at at church basement show with Jim Henson and Kermit as well as Shari Lewis and LambChop. My folks went to the same church as Mr. Henson. Other members of the same church include the Duvall brothers, most famously Robert. Another brother was my dad's attorney.
A good friend of mine worked for Henson back in the Day. He left when Disney bought them out. Quote "I ain't gonna work for no mouse." He is now a highly successful special effects guy in NYC. Working under the name "Acme" in honor of the Roadrunner.
