So today I took my fairly new Italian Mistress out to what has become one of my favorite spots to photograph my motorcycles...I call it the Weeping Willow Curve spot. It’s on Leeds Manor Road (Rte. 688) in Faquier County, Virginia...about a half a mile north of I-66. The Weeping Willow makes for a great backdrop...the Moto Guzzi Eldorado shows beautifully there...or as my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter says...the “Motsee Gootsee”...I feel blessed all around. 😎

I've seen where photographers keep the subject in color and convert the background to b&w. You have somehow done the opposite. Nice. :afro:

Umm, it's actually a B&W motorcycle. No photo-manipulation necessary.

Beautiful bike. Don't know what camera you used (iPhone to medium format... could be anywhere in between)
Could you/would you go back and bring a block to put under the side stand so the bike sits more upright rather than leaning away from the camera? It would reduce the 'sheen' on the gas tank, side cover, and headstock.
And, (I'm being particular) could you park the bike closer to the road edge and shoot from further away so the background is just a little out of focus? The bike is fighting for attention with the fence and the hanging branches. Photo is about the bike; not the background.
And.... could you kneel or lay down almost parallel to the cylinder so you are shooting 'up' at the machine to give it a powerful presence in the image? And, if you haven't shut me down as some artsy-prick, would you park the bike with the front wheel straight?
Beautiful bike. Great backdrop. A lifetime photo is in your hands.
Wish I could clean enough my bike to be worthy of such a photo opportunity.

Cover up, you are exposing your graphic artist...

My next door neighbor had a mature willow that was the background for many photo "opps" over the years. A recent windstorm had it crash onto my house, doing some damage and taking down my newly installed leaf guard gutters.... Not so photogenic any more!

Nothing like classic Italian sculpture.

Indeed...the primary difference in these two would be that the one with wheels doesn’t get jealous if you ride another one...

Here are two Italian beauties we saw today at Powersports Outlet in Prescott, AZ... :thumb: :boozing:
1. The new SWM 600cc Adventure bike (made in Milan, Italy)
2. The now famous Guzzi V85TT - my buddy Mike liked it!
