Title: Korean Moto Energy - Socal Support
Post by: pehayes on August 16, 2019, 12:47:04 PM
Back in April we did a full Route-66 ride.  At Petrified Forest, Arizona we met a Korean couple on a grand tour at 125cc.  At that time they were heading north to Alaska.  I had my doubts.

Well, they made it.  Did a U-Turn and now heading to Ushuaia.  Earlier this week they stayed with my brother in Portland.  I expect them here near San Francisco on the 20th or so.  Then on to Yosemite.

Is anyone else interested in hosting them as they travel the west coast southbound?  Lodging, meals, laundry, WiFi, mechanical support.  They do 150 - 200 miles per day.  Have to give them routing suggestions that exclude freeways.

Brave souls for sure.  They made it from Guatemala to Fairbanks.  Couldn't locate any rough knobby tires for the ride to Prudhoe Bay so they turned south.  Now at my house near San Francisco.  Heading to Yosemit, Los Angeles and eventually south to Ushuaia.  All on 125cc!
