Title: P15 ECU: Malevolent AI or Glorified Points/Rotor with Delusions of Grandeur?
Post by: normzone on August 16, 2019, 03:33:52 PM
I'll come back here after I get through the work crisis of the moment, but I need to know more.

Comments about it "learning" after a while make me ... suspicious.

Only the RC uses input from a lambda sensor. It trims the fuel parameters to meet emissions targets. What is there to be 'Suspicious' of?

Maybe he saw a Cyberdyne Systems label on one of the parts?

(movie reference from "The Terminator")

Check your timing chain or the kickstand spring first.

If adjusting the fuel trim based in a "high"/"low" state from the O2 sensor can be classified as "artificial intelligence", then it's the dumbest AI ever. The computer/phone/tablet you used to post this thread is 10 million times more artificially intelligent. They haven't subjugated you to their will, yet. Have they?

Millennials with smartphones permanently attached to their hands, need not respond.
