You'd need to add one-way flaps on the output of the pipes to stop people throwing their McDonalds wrappers in them.

My first MC, a 65Ccc Honda had a electric  conduit  pipe that my neighbor bent with a pipe bender, fitted just like that. It had a great sound, to my 14 year old ears anyway.
