A real Kansas gem is the Maxwell Wildlife Refuge in central KS. It hosts a totally native grasslands of about 2,200 acres along with 200+ bison and a smaller elk heard.
The bison in the sunrise photo is my photo of a photo on exhibit. The rest were taken today.
