Good to hear!!!  I was not looking forward to 2 hours of riding in the rain each way to stand in a field to get rained on. :)

Great event and a good cause. Now I just have to find a route that doesn't include 60 miles of the pike.

Great event and a good cause. Now I just have to find a route that doesn't include 60 miles of the pike.

I made the mistake of trying rte 20... The first 10-15 mikes were OK, then it was 20 miles of city traffic!!   The pike was nice after that.

And special thanks to the volunteers who helped make it happen!

Joe Tamarkin who manned the T-Shirt table
John Betts, Tom Bailey, Al & Lori Anderson and Norm Moquin worked the Gate
My niece Amanda did odd jobs...like cleaning the Field
The ever-ready/steady Steve Cote, snapped photo's all day
And although he couldn't be there, my Co-Chairman Bob Andren and his wife Hein did a lot of pre-work behind the scenes

Plus...as always, the Hamilton Rod & Gun Club hospitality was appreciated!

Thanks again to all, and FYI: a nice Check was sent to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (J.D.R.F), today.

Next Event: October 20 = 23rd Annual Fall Moto Guzzi New England Day @ The Vanilla Bean -- Pomfret. 10:00 to 2:00. A tribute to the good, old Marsh Motorcycle Open House(s)...
