I have been riding the back roads of Europe from Amsterdam, currently in Prague. Hardly a motorcycle seen until I crossed into the Czech Republic. The twisty backroads from the German border to Prague have been full of sport bikes, mostly in groups and riding past me very quickly. Seen plenty of KTM, Ducati and BMW sport bikes, great exhaust notes as they blast by👍 Lovely scenery here, rolling hills, mostly forested and not much traffic. Two up, laden with luggage, riding a fast bike slowly is a whole ‘different’ experience for me, actually enjoying it!

i've done that run from amsterdam to prague and back. we were 2 up on an older california. great trip. the german freeways allow you to really crack open the throttle and the prague run has that nice forest.
when you leave dresden you head into the hills/mountains and the road can get super twisty. it is a sort of dark elvish forest with heavy trucks and motorcycles on the road. it can get tricky.
i did this run a number of years ago and it may have changed but there was one weird thing on the forest route. we started to notice clusters of women along the roadside in the areas where there was a wide pullout. at first we thought they were workers getting off their shift who were waiting for their rides home. it didn't take long to realize that they were sex workers who were out in the forest to cater to the all of the truckers heading into prague from dresden.
mile after mile there were so many of them. it was really sad to see this and it was truly bizarre to see women all tarted up hanging out in the middle of the forest.

I am staying at the Alcron Hotel, has free underground secure parking. Nice hotel and close a half block off the long main pedestrian street. Heading towards Krakow today.
Cheers
