I just received an email from Gutsibits that there is a small run of LM1 replica seats available: https://www.gutsibits.co.uk/pr/TheShop/index.php?q=sea14554&f=d&Model=0&search=SEARCH
I ended up finding a Stucchi dual seat on ebay last year so I won't be ordering one, but thought I'd let others know.

Hmmmm...$500 bucks plus shipping. Looks like a very nice seat.

The single seat were on the LeMans 850 series 1 with the round tail lights. Later LeMans had dual seats, were the single seat an option for those?

Nope...
The last of the round taillight bikes had the dual seat. July ‘76?
Some time around September they went with the rectangular light, I have a September round taillight...

This is a replica of the unicorn seat that graced the earliest LM's. As failure rate was very high due to its fragility , most got replaced under warranty with the longer (hard) seat that soldiered on into LM2's and CX 100's. Gaman, Giuliari and later Corbin were aftermarket options. Kudos to Gutsibits for making it available

Icing on the cake for those who like them to look like new. Hopefully these won't be made exactly like the originals and will last more than a 1000 miles. Good for them for doing this.

Love the look of the LM I. IMHO, they should have left the chrome fenders of the V7 Sport and offered a seat like this one.
