Title: Saprisa alternator screws torque setting?
Post by: Pescatore on September 15, 2019, 12:25:45 AM
Does anyone know the torque setting for the three screws that hold the alternator cover?
I would like to remove it and replace the fiberglass sleeve for the alternator output wires.
I found a similar replacement:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RLS2G77/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RLS2G77/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

As tight as you can, using a 1/4" drive nutdriver handle and one hand.

Unless you're a professional arm wrestler.

Not terribly critical.
