The float needle in my Cal 2 finally quit shutting off the fuel. A dismantling showed that the original needle had a ring around it like one of saturns. Quick research revealed that the original needle was no longer available. Now I have to get completely new needle and seats. So a new pair of 250 needle arrived. The next question is " do I have to reset the float levels after replacing the old needle and seat with the new ones????" Thanks.

Yes, you should check the float level and adjust it if necessary.
