I think they look interesting, wondering how they go?

Mechanically, they're basically the same as the KTM Duke 690, so I'd expect they go about the same as those.  Which is pretty darn well.

I have test ridden both of the Pilen's and if I had the money to hand I would be seriously interested, they are greta bikes, and for the sort of riding I do, mainly town commutes with a little bit of weekend riding on single lane country roads they work really well, you wouldn't tour on it but to spice up a commute they would be a great option.  Build quality is good, engine's ace and the quickshifter is excellent. The instrument cluster get's a lot of stick, but works well has Gear indicator, fuel guage and rec counter and I ound it easy to use, it's not a flash TFT job but provides all the info you need.

As you can tell I liked them, personally might favour the Vit over the Svart but both good. Downside in NZ is looks like they are not going to continue importing as the RRP is to steep for NZ market and they had to drop 5K'ish NZ$ of the price to move them of the show room floor.
