Hello All, 9-27-19
I have a '15 Cali 1400. My question is this...if I disconnect the throttle cables from the handlebar twist grip in order to re-locate the cables, do I have to perform a throttle grip re-program, re-learning procedure (I think it is called with Guzzidiag), after I re-connect the cables to the twist grip. I am not messing with the TGPS, only the handlebar connections.

Good question Doug. I definitely had to when I replaced my TPS. one of the guys here walked WIFE through the process because I’m not computer savvy. However I did hook up the cables for her and removed the seat😂😂😂

Thanks for the reply. I intend to NOT disturb the TPS. I guess I need to know if it makes a difference if I only detach the throttle grip end of the cables.

Nope, I can't see any reason why you would. The 'Throttle' and 'Handle' learning procedures are related to setting up what can best be described as an 'Electronic baseline' so that the ECU can not only manage the system correctly but also identify any faults, particularly with the demand sensor. THE ACTUAL 'Physical' cabling has no effect on this at all. Just make sure they aren't routed in such a way that the demand sensor cam can't return to its stop. That will have exactly the same effect as a tight cable on a 'Conventional' bike.
