Hey boys and girls, just wondering if anyone out there has tried the product "Booster plug" with any success on the 8V?

It's another sensor fooler. If it goes between the ECU and Lambda sensor it will risk severe overfuelling and service warnings. If it's one of the ones that goes between the ECU and the air temperature sensor the ECU will trim around it in short order.
Just buy a map from Mark and be done with it.

These products get discussed on a frequent basis because they seem to offer a quick fix solution to a complex problem. Often reviews comment on the initial use but rarely go into long term usage, I fell into the trap when reviewing a similar product. Initially the device seem to have some benefit so my feedback was favourable, then the ecu warning lights started coming on and plug chops indiicated rich running, so not so good.
The only real answer is to get into the guts of the ecu and do some regrogramming work, a specialist job which Mark/Beetle at Griso ghetto has done remarkably well.
