Just a wee spin on the Quota (Magantic, Magog etc.). Eats miles for breakfast, lunch and supper.

Thanks for the pics - someplace I'd definitely like to explore.
What is this formation? Is it an extention of the White/Green mountains, or is it an enormous drumlin? (glacial landform)

Hi OldMojo - I'm not completely sure which mountain that picture shows, but all the uplands in the area are part of the Appalachians which extend northeast through Quebec and New Brunswick and terminate at the northern end of the Long Range Mountains in Newfoundland (not at Mount Katahdin in Maine!!).
If this one is Mount Megantic (which it probably is), it is one of the Monteregian Hills - old, isolated volcanic intrusions - part of the Great Meteor Hotspot track (thanks wikipedia). It rises to about 3600 feet.
Interesting area and some great riding roads.
