LOVE me some Little Feat!

Lowell, Richie and now Paul.
Rest In Peace sir.

"If the phone don't ring you know it's me."

One of my favorites back in the day. Saw them in Indy. After Lowell died, though, they weren't the same to me. RIP, and thanks for some good times.

No Chuck they were not the same. Lowell was one of a kind. I never got to see them WITH Lowell. But I enjoyed the 3 time I saw them without. Great musicians!

I saw them in NC shortly before Lowell died, during the Waiting for Columbus tour.

I saw them in '77 or '78, right at the height of the Columbus album. Great band. All the great stuff, then they went into an instrumental, "Day at the Dog Races". Wow, what a band.
Saw them with Fred Tackett with Allman's in St Louis in late '80s. The local station (KSHE) had a "Feats at five" deal on Saturday. They sent me a Tshirt for my song selection for the show. Still a great band but not the same as Lowell.
I heard on the radio that Paul tried to join the band as the bassist and didn't get the gig. He said “As a bassist, I make an excellent guitarist."
I'm planning to see Tedeschi Trucks Band next month, I think they carry on ....

Little Feat....one of my favorite bands of all time. I saw them live in Austin, TX back in the 70's.  :thumb:
Here you go...with the late, great, Lowell George...turn up the volume!! R.I.P. Paul B...and Godspeed....he was 71.

Great Band, Fine player. BK

I got to see them many times in the 90's and early 00's. Richie was a high school friend and I was able to meet them backstage and up close and personal. Along with being a great band, they were genuinely fine people, with no pretensions. Sad to see them drifting away, one by one.

Saw Little Feat in 1978. Very memorable show.

RIP Paul. I saw him with the Bluesbusters several times during the mid 80's at the Lighthouse Café in Hermosa Beach. Those were really great shows.

Losing Lowell George at a young age still hurts.
-
I'll never forget seeing them with Lowell at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston in '77. The whole balcony was rocking up and down from people dancing!
Still play their vinyl albums from back then!!

Little Feat was truly unique. Lowell George was a tormented genius; too bad he died so young. I still listen to their music often; listened to "Waiting for Columbus" yesterday; one of the best live recordings of all time. RIP Paul.
