Just asking where you blokes tap into the loom for powering up the GPS ?
I’m happy to only have current supplied when the key is “on”.
Would the power wire to the tail light be appropriate ?

Isn't there a dedicated connector up by the steering head somewhere?

I'd agree there should be a GPS or accessory lug some where up towards the front or under the tank. If not buy a $12 accessory driving light harness from Amazon with a relay. Then wire the trigger wire from the relay to the low beam power supply and the ring terminals to the battery. Since these are fused and typically are used for driving lights you'll have an additional fused/keyed powers supply to run another accessory like a heated liner.

Well thank you.
I’ll use that to guide me.

The wiring diagram shows a connector located somewhere up the front for the fog lights and relay. I don't know where exactly this connector resides, but I'm guessing it might be in the dual headlight shell. There's continuous +12V power, switched +12V power via the RH light switch, and a return (0v).
You could find a mating connector and run from this feed without molesting the wiring loom.

Huzo, I'll take a picture tomorrow of where I tapped into the taillight for switched power. The yellow wire is the power one.

Thank you for your help guys.
It’s very much appreciated.
