Post by: guzzi4me on November 12, 2019, 11:11:27 AM
Laurie and I got married!! !

We are celebrating our anniversary in Avila Beach Ca and having a wonderful time. Will be leaving here to go home for one night then going to Sutter Creek for a stay at a favorite b&b.

Laurie is my best friend...quite blessed...she even puts up with my Moto Guzzi addiction!!

Give the ones that are close to you an extra hug and appreciate them....

Jeff

It takes some magic and a lot of work to keep a marriage alive and the love strong. Very well done!  :thumb:

42 years?   You lot are still on your honeymoon ... 42nd anniversary is way back in our rearview mirror ...

But congratulations.   If it feels "easy" it's because you both gave and took and compromised and made it LOOK easy, cause it ain't.

Our first date was on a motorcycle when we were 18, and we're going out on riding date this weekend .....

All the best to you both!
My wife and I have also been together for 42 years as July 2nd.
And she has always supported my motorcycle passion since day one. In fact, I threw around the idea to sell both of my bikes due to old age, and she said no way.
She says those bikes are part of our family forever, and she could not bear missing them in garage!

Congrats! And wow, lotsa 42-yr club members, that must've been a good year.

Avila Beach! My wife of 22 yrs and I had the best hamburger of our lives at Avila, we still remember it. Maybe it was because we were young, in love, and still not married?

It was there, in a rental car that was a plain-looking as a beige wall, that I watched in amusement as a tow-truck hiked up some poor sap's car that was parked illegally, until my girlfriend (now wife) elbowed me in the ribs and screamed "That's our car!"
