I like Parillas a lot, that's a very, very challenged Wildcat....  If the same person that handled the mechanical duties handled the superficial stuff, I'd be wary to buy from a distance even if the price was much more reasonable.

The Yahoo Parilla group is moving over the same hosting site that several other groups are, now that Yahoo is ending such things.  If you cannot find it and want to join, contact me directly.  There was a post on the group about a month ago about a "decent" 250 Tourist project bike for reasonable money in the Midwest iirc that may still be available.  Bill Herring in Ohio has also had some Parilla stuff listed as he's been selling out, but it may be all gone by now.

Yes, I've long been on the Yahoo Parilla Group. Looking for a bike for a friend, who's been all over mine.

I own a 55 Tourismo Speciale that I`d like to sell, bought it 6 years ago to restore and cant see getting to it for at least another 6. if interested, pm me for details etc.  I`d like to get $2200 , it`s near San Diego.

I toyed with the idea of this one for a bit, but had an attack of common sense.  it just sold for $2200.

If I didn't already have a 250, that Turismo Speciale would be right up my alley! As indicated though earlier in the thread, I helping a friend find something since he's been all over mine, and he's dead set on doing a GS clone. Oh well...

But somebody else should buy that '55!

Thanks,
