Been meaning to write a book of Guzzi travel stories for a while, recently I’ve had a gig with Australian Motorcycle Trader mag but to get it all down in print would not be possible at 1000 words a month so I hatched a plan.
Write it for my grandkids ( and publish as children’s book)
Bike becomes capable of time travel and my eldest grandson gets to go back 30+ years and see the world, from a spot in the saddlebag.
Of course he loves it, he’s the star
Best thing he’s said so far is to tell his mum to print it, he knows it can disappear from her phone, only paper is tangible to him, even though he has only lived in digital age. Story in itself right there.
This book is all about Africa by Guzzi in 1985 during Australia - UK trip.
Before it goes to publisher I’d like some feedback from other kids / parents/grandparents
Anyone want to read first two chapters (free, of course) and let me know how the child likes it ?
Pm me for pdf
Comment on here or by pm, especially want the child’s words, that the adult likes it, even better, is in English so some bits may not translate easily to merkan, need to know if this is case. Humour is very much a part of it.

I live in an apartment complex with a bunch of young Guzzistas that read a lot - if you provide access I'll print and deliver it to them, and return their comments to you.

13 year old should be able to read it to 4 year old, just might need some help with my words, could be really good for his reading too, that’s good feedback if they both get into it.
Pm your email address
Same for others (except johnny lazio, have sent yours)

Does the Guzzi talk, like Liberty the horse?

Does the Guzzi talk, like Liberty the horse?
Always has, been talking to me for 42 years, that it talks to my grandson wasn’t that surprising.
Not quite like a horse though, more of a roar than a neigh

Silence is deafening, any comments at all ?
Can take criticism, maybe 3 too young , one mum thought it scary, (grand) parental guidance recommended,
Grandson up to chapter 5 now, will take 20 to get to London

I'm a bit curious about the kids' reactions, having a three years old grandson myself.
Would anyone like to post something?
Little Tino would like to ride, but I don't plan to encourage him - - - -
