Well I have been here in Arizona for two weeks now and am still alive, sort of. My toy hauler trailer is due to arrive next Monday.
I have rented a place for it in Tuscon at a trailer park that looks livable, sort of. The second day I was here I was checked into
the local V.A. hospital where they diagnosed me with some kind of flu bug that was terrible and accused me of having a heart attack.
They stuck me full of needles and began pumping things into and out of me. They released me the next afternoon and I went home with my friend who used own the motorcycle shop in Port Townsend. He has been putting up with my hacking up flemballs and shitting my pants for about 2 weeks now. He has the patience of a saint. I only hope I can repay his kindness. Last night I made it through the night without a flemball episode. I think that means I am getting better now. I will be glad when My trailer gets here so I can no longer occupy his couch. My toy hauler has a small motorcycle with sidecar in it and I am looking forward to its' arrival. I came here to flee the blizzards the ice age in Ill Noise where it has snowed at last 4 times already this season. Weather here has ranged from 70 f down to 34 f. A vast improvement with no snow. Well, that about brings it up to date so far for this old Geezer.

Welcome to Tucson . The local Guzzi geezers meet for breakfast the 3rd Sunday every month,check the MGNOC meet up and ride section for information as to where. Every Second Wednesday night the Vintage bike club meets at the Barrio Brewery on S 16th st. The local dealer, On any Moto is competent, helpful and usually has donuts on Saturdays.
I hope you recover soon and see you on the road.

I have spent about 1/5 of my adult life in Hulu land and loved it but it got prohibitively expensive. Ill Noise was easily affordable but
at 75 years the ice age is very hard on me. I think this winter would have killed me. So here I am in a place I have never been,
hoping for the best. Next month I shall probably be looking for that get together that was mentioned. Maybe I will be familiar enough to find it. by then. Thankyou for the tip.

Glad you got out of snow Jim. Take care of that heart & bug. Nice area for riding this time of year, keep it on 3. I know that's hard to do!! Freeking cold in IL right now.

Well now, I’m envious but not of the phlegm balls. We are froze in for the duration in Wisconsin but I’m amusing myself fixing a Samsung tv and doing weird stuff to motorbikes. The wife and I are looking at toy haulers......

About the toy hauler, It is 2017 and 30 feet long huge Queen size bed up front then a cooking dining area that slides out to make more room. built in sink, stove with oven , and refrigerator. then is the toilet with shower and sink.
Last of all is the toy space which has a bed that lowers from the ceiling down to about 3 feet from the floor. I had the seats removed for more toy space. It presently contains my Van Van with sidecar attached, and two large wooden footlockers and a stand up footlocker. In smaller containers are welding gear and tools. The Back wall drops open to make a loading ramp for the whole width of the trailer. Or it can be locked in the horizontal to become a patio for cookouts 3 feet above ground. Up front under the main bed is storage space that is presently full of tool lockers for my small lathe, and about 2 hundred pounds of canned salmon and tuna. two propane bottles are mounted on the tongue.
it has about as much livable space as can be had in a 30 foot trailer. It should arrive Monday just in time for a week of monsoon rains. Arizonas version of winter. I will just hibernate inside until the sun shines again, but at least it will not be
as cold as Ill noise. and the roll out rain shelter will protect the Bike.

That sure sounds like a desirable home, Jim. What will you pull it with? We are thinking of a motor home style, a diesel pusher but man are they expensive.

Yes Dec. is somewhat sucky in S. Az. That's why I come to Green valley (30 miles South of you) for Jan- the first week in April. three weeks from now you will be very pleased your there.

I've not been to Tucson in several years.
Any of these guys ring a bell? Ed Hertfelder (City Bike + books), plus another City Bike guy whose name I can't recall. Deryle Mehrten (bmw), Frank Zabriskie (ZMW 3135 E. Lincoln St.).
On my first visit to Barrio Brewery I met all those men at once, after corresponding with them for years. Good fortune, R3~
