NWRider: I was reviewing the V 85 thread from back in August specifically for the close fitting fender that fits our bike. Just confirming:
1. Aprilia Capo Nord Rally 1200 front fender/AF 1 Racing/$70.00/comes in black (not carbon fiber) part # 2B0024475
(I have seen carbon fiber ones as well, those would certainly be more $ if they are even available. I haven't communicated with AF 1 yet, so I don't know
if just the regular black and carbon fiber are both available. The above part # is for the plain black one I am assuming.)
After some time with it on, any issues running it with the OEM fender in place? Can't imagine there would be, just curious if all is well or if you have
any comments having used it for awhile. Thanks.

I’d like to see one on a V85, with the beak removed..

You can, if you're allowed to go on the dark side.

Unlike other "adventure" bikes, the Guzzi has a fender, not a beak built into the other body work. It would look like ass without it.

Tommy2cyl,
RE: Caponord front fender - No issues with the front fender. However, like any other low front fender, stay away from sticky mud that would pack in and lock the front wheel. The Capo fender is plastic but it has an embossed carbon fiber pattern. This picture should show it clearly.

NWrider: Thanks for getting back. I have seen pictures of both solid black and carbon fiber (look), so I wasn't sure if there were two options. Just regular plastic will work well. If it looks like yours, that is fine. Will be placing an order this week, although does seem they are on back order. Hopefully if it gets here by April, that is fine with me.

I agree with what you're saying, except for the last sentence. I quite like the look, and I'm considering doing the same i.e. just having the Caponord front fender. Time to ponder.

Must be a south of the equator thing?

The link I posted was of a UK bike. Perhaps the world has turned upside-down?

But you and Huzo are both down under, and thinking the same thing.
