Title: Centauro rear wheel ques.
Post by: AH Fan on February 02, 2020, 05:52:21 AM
Good morning all.
Was wondering if any of you would know if the factory stock rear wheel on a Centauro (4.25 I think ) can be replaced with a 5.5 from a V-11 sport?

Thx in advance.

Think the rear swing arm is wider on the long frame V11’s

Paul put a big rim on his Daytona from memory, he had a website too...

Www.fastguzzi.nl I think

Not a lot of room back there.

I'd say stick with the stock tire, (160 / 60 ZR 17 MC 69W), and be done with it! (IMHO)

I just had a set of  front and rear SHINKO Raven radials installed on mine.  They were $100 cheaper, (each), than comparable Pirelli's, and besides, they don't make the Pirelli Angel GT's anymore.

NOTE:  I got about 10K mileage out of the Pirelli's...which is not too bad, I guess..

I was just curious if anyone had done it.
I think those machines would look pretty good swinging a fat one back there.... being how they are pretty thick looking body wise from the rear IMHO
