Title: 1100 Sport Project on Offer Up L.A. Ca.
Post by: Tom H on February 20, 2020, 10:15:24 PM
Interesting looking Sport project. For the price, I'd consider giving it a whirl. But, not really a sport rider. If someone not local is serious, I may be able to go look at it.

Not connected to seller ect., ect...

Looks like it'll be easier to lube the driveshaft on that one.

Just trying to be positive here.

Geez guys, sorry I posted about this bike. I didn't know it was so bad. I figured for the price, it may have been a nice project or at least a parts bike.

If it would have been a relatively easy swap like a EV into my Loop, I think I would have bought it. After seeing it and finding out how the engine is of course.

I've seen these kinds of things at MG Classics. Here's what the engine is like. When you pull the dipstick, there may or may not be some tar on the bottom of it.

dear god in heaven!

what particular drug or combination of drugs do you have to be on in order to look at a v11 and say to yourself "i have a better idea"...and then you actually take the time and energy to create this horror show.

oh the humanity.

I think it can be saved. If it was near me, I'd be a player at $900.00

Dave, I know everybody is having fun with this. I really did think there may be some interest in it for at least a parts bike.

Turin, You could always offer it and he may be willing to help ship it. I don't know. But then again, AZ is not that far for a road trip to get it.

Again, I thought about it for myself as a donor for a project or maybe to fix it up. I'm just not really a sport bike guy.

Tom

Fixed it Huzo.

Anything can be saved. Whether or not it is worth saving is the question.
