Title: Another CL V7 Sport with nice 1975 imagery

Check out some of the photos, the pic in front of the dealership makes me think wistfully back to my youth. We had a long-haired high-school senior who rode a Montessa, and I had a friend with a Penton. Those were the days.

What year/model is that bike with the seller's friend, with the twin-discs on the front? A later version of the same V7 Sport?

It's either a late V7 Sport or maybe one fitted with the disk brake kit that was available at the time.

Owner says the pics were from '75, that's a BIG upgrade from twin-leading shoe to twin disc.

Just because he's asking that, doesn't mean he'll get that. To me, it's a $12,500 V7 Sport at best.

There has been some what looks to be bodge wiring on the left switch gear.  The original pillbox probably smoked at one time and was replaced.

The original paint looks fairly decent.  From the pictures it looks good enough to leave as is.  Original only once they say.

Although I don't think the price is INSANE    I do think the price is optimistic by at least 5K.

The last V7Sport had disc brakes.

If you purchased one new in the 70's paid rego insurance anual service and a set of tyres every 3-5 years and a battery whenever it needed it the price is probablly a bargin in comparison.
