Thank Charlie for that name.
But, in the spirit of Sir Real Ed's comment on the 'V-twin, not a Guzzi' thread,
As one who has a couple years on you, I can verify that at our age our powers of discernment and good judgement are fading..... since there is no cure, might as well enjoy the process.,
this is now taking up a huge amount of space in my garage. 38,700kms, immaculate, runs beautifully, everything works, less than a tenth of the cost of a new road couch.

I don't think you'll to go far off paved roads with that big machine. Hop on the slab and ride down to visit.

Thanks Charlie - much appreciated. I think I'll be sitting tight for a while though, until we know how this little health thing plays out.

Lovingly referred to as the “Gravelcade” around these parts. An under rated machine, a buddy had one, claimed the seat was the best he ever sat on, I think the seat had an air bladder in it.

My gosh, I'd forgotten how massive (at least massive-looking) those bikes are.
I'm sure it'll do the job it's built to do as well as anything on the road.
The rider headed for the West Coast in comfort will have a bit of a Wild Bill Gelbke vibe going on ....
