Title: Footpegs for Stelvio
Post by: tonyduc on March 16, 2020, 10:33:28 AM
Looking for better footpegs than stock for my 2011 Stelvio. The only ones I can find are these SW-Motech's
https://www.solomotoparts.com/SW-Motech-On-Road-Off-Road-Footpegs-for-Stelvio-1200-4V-08-09/.
Anyone know if the footpegs from 2008-09 fit other years. My guess is that they should.

Thanks
Tony

The SW Motech footrests will fit the newer model years but you cannot use the lower mounting position. I have them on my 2012.

You can use the lower position, but you have to grind a smidge off the underside of the left peg for side stand clearance. Or just wrap the stand with some tape for a bit of padding.

This.

GW pegs fit perfectly.  You'll either need one new spring (bikebandit.com) or install without.  About 1/2" lower than stock, wider, much more comfortable.  Check ebay for new take-offs, these are usually available from trike conversions.

Interested in this option as well, but does anyone know of any other options? The stock pegs are terrible off-road with or without the rubber.

I have PivotPegs on my Stelvio and Stornello. Fantastic, great grip and the pivoting is great when standing.

I ordered Rizoma enduro pegs but wasn't satisfied with the fit so I returned them and welded onto the stock pegs on my V85. They are now 1/2" wider and 3/4" longer, a huge improvement.

Online I ordered wider, longer, off road pegs for my 15 Suzuki DRZ 400. Before they arrived I decided to sell it and about a week after it was gone I got my new pegs. :embarassed: Turns out they fit my 13 Stelvio also and were much better than the skinny ass stockers.

Just ordered the PivotPegz.  Had them on my EXC, nothing beats those pegs.
