Anyone replace one on a car? How did you bleed the brakes? Did you use a pressure brake bleeder?
-
I have to replace the rear brake line from peddle to ABS box. I will be watching your thread in hopes of learning how to bleed the rear brakes also.

What kind of system? The Teves systems used in GM, Jaguar, SAAB etc don't require bleeding at all. just pump down the 2000 psi accumulator, unthread the old one, thread-in the new one, clean up the mess, allow the system to pressurize back up.

Mercedes Benz. The pressure accumulator has caution sticker on it saying under high pressure. When you bleed the brakes, you have to reset the ecu with an OBD2 scanner and pressure bleeder.
