One of the great pilots of the V7 sport passed away a few days ago, from fever.l A great loss of one of the original Guzzi racers.

RIP, Abbondio.
I love the expression on the inside rider's face.  Looks like he's wondering, "how the hell does the rider on that big V twin beast have the hutzpa to pass me on the outside ?!"
I'm guessing the photo was taken sometime in the late 1960s - early 1970s.
Thanks for posting it.

An Italian-language source says the Guzzi rider in the top photo is Raimondo Riva, not Bundi, in 1972, at Monza:

P.S. Google translation:
A photograph taken back in 1972 during the exciting 500km event in MONZA where he captures the two pilots Nico Cereghini - n. 59 - with his Laverda 750SFC and Raimondo Riva - n. 16 - with his Moto Guzzi V7 Sport.
P.P.S. Another photo of Riva appears on page 54 of Greg Field's Moto Guzzi Big Twins, for comparison.
