Title: What do we look like? Definitely MG content.

I have been communicating with some of you guys for several years now and consider the members of this forum an extended family. I was reading a post of one of you guys this morning who was describing himself in regards to a particular riding issue and it dawned on me. After all these years of knowing you guys I wouldn’t know you if we ran into each other on the street, I don’t know what you look like. I’d really like to see you in person but that probably, for the most part won’t happen. So the next best thing is a photo, preferably a more recent one and I’ll start the show.
I hope this don’t seem frivolous because I’m serious, I really want to add an image to my guzzi pals and it will be interesting to see if

Me in the Army hoodie with my son and grandson. They flew out from Virginia, rented a Harley in Reno and rode to Quincy. We all then rode to Clam Beach near Eureka for a family memorial for a passed family member.

I hear that these days, you "are" whatever you "identify yourself" to be.

If I say that I'm a young studmuffin with dark curly hair, how DARE anyone judge me on outward appearances, chromosome count, hair color, etc? That's an "Ism" or "Phobe" of some sort, and as soon as I find out which, I'm off to the lawyer! :thewife:

It was made by a friend of mine, Mr William Davidson, in honor of my father "Cliff" White (engraved in M of P on the fret board), using Black Cherry wood, that my Dad had harvested after the Ice Storm of '98, and our family crest is on the head stock.

For the guitarists among us, it's a 12 fret,with a flat Ebony finger board, high quality Canadian BC Engelmann Spruce top, and surprisingly, the most delicious mellow brown tone :thumb:

Was that topical or typical? Either way beards seem to be common here, although I've had mine since the early 60s before it was gray and I heard a lot of Smith Brothers Jokes (for those who remember that product). I don't do a lot of photos of myself, but there was a convenient flat topped electrical post at that camping spot to set the camera on. Here is a cropped version, but I think the cali is still the most photogenic

Thanks Rick. Yea I’ve been a member for around 10 years and I just couldn’t stand it any longer not knowing what my buddies looked like and in just about every case y’all look different that what I figured. Those who I figured would be little guys are bigger guys and Vice versa. Some younger and some older. The thing that is starting to be amazing is how many of us are very similar in appearance.

A little story about my relationship with the Ant Man.
So, he had put on the forum that he was doing a fly and ride from FL to NY. So me being the good guy I am I offered him a stopover and overnight at my house in NC. So that night about dark, rainy and cold I heard him coming down the drive so I went downstairs and opened the door. In comes the guzzi with the soaked rider. He gets off the bike and removes his helmet and the foot long ponytail keeps falling out and we have been buddy pals since:)

Absolutely gorgeous place. We didn't take the trail, instead took the boat from Monterosso to Riomaggiore. Then back to to go for a swim. Got to try Cioppino for the first time and the local anchovies and oysters.

If I ever get back and have a motorcycle trip.....after the Swiss Alps, I'll head down there. Maybe see Guzzi factory on the way.

What a wonderful family in a wonderful place. :thumb:

Fortunately it was removed after a couple of days , but it got my attention . Most pictures of me that show up on the net were taken W/O me even being aware . Since I don't use a camera phone , ever, it doesn't occur that pictures are being taken . I don't normally say much , but it would be good to respect my wishes at the moment .

If you look really close, you can see me thinking "What the hell did I get myself into?". But, after landing, I loved it and wanted more. By the time I got out, I had 33 under my belt since I was only a once-a-month qualifier. I continued doing it on occasion over the years even after I got out. It's the one in 2014 that almost killed me and was my last ever.

I'm 6'2" and I need a taller seat-- it's cramped right now. The seat that's on it came with the bike and is a bit lower than the stock seat, I think. I have put a airhawk on it and added another 1" to that and it's OK but I probably still need another inch or two. I think the tall seat from Harpers might work but I've never sat on one.

Nah, it’s a bass but if one did the best way to cook it is bake it for 1 hour on a pine board at 450 degrees. Remove from the oven and eat the board after throwing out the fish😂

Now that is something I can say I have never seen. A boxer police bike, and an "assault style" weapon exposed like that. You are either very tall or the pegs seem higher on that bike.

Actually the BMWs are the majority of police motors in Michigan. They are extremely popular. The State Police even switched a few years back. Most departments issue M4 rifles now to officers and give us a lot of active shooter training. Some departments issue an AR15 type pistol which is totally concealed in the left saddlebag. The RT is a comfortable bike. The pegs are what I call normal. It is classified as a sport touring. I think the lean angles are 49 degrees.
