I have a Pressol brand grease gun that my wife bought me about 30 years ago. Yes I still have both. Most, if not all cartridges in Australia are 450 grams. These are to big for my gun.
I see online that Pressol cartridges are 400 grams but no dimensions are given to see if it will fit my gun. Does anyone know the dimensions of the 400 gram grease cartridge?
Does anyone have a source for 400 gram grease cartridges in Australia. For the Guzzi content, I know I could spend the money and buy a new 450 gram gun but this one still works.
Thanks Steve

At work the mobile branded grease we use on two of our machines has a smaller what was described as a european sized grease cartrige which is smaller than the one you get from supercrap auto. Won't be in till next week so a can't go measure one, we get them locally from statewide oil distributors. Its messy you can always hand load the thing :P.

Hi Steve, Wynns lubricants in S.A. sell those 400g cartridges but only 1 product I think . Wynns ultra synthetic universal, product number#58503 and only in a box of 10. but its Wynns, most of there products contain a percentage of gold, well the price indicates that anyway. Something tells me that Wurth may also sell them .Google come up with a few hopefuls in aus so you will find them. Cant tell you the tube dimensions ..Bill

Can you buy refillable cartridges for that thing? Then all you need is a tub of grease and Robert's your mother's brother.

with the bigger cartridge grease guns you can turn the rubber plunger the other way and with out a cartridge put the gun in a tub of grease and pull back the handle and it will suck the grease in and replace the handle and Bobs your uncle. smaller gun may do the same , also seen where you remove the bleed nut and replace it with a grease nipple [zerk fitting] and you can fill it with another gun but again you will have to reverse the plunger to stop the grease from purging out the end of the gun by the plunger handle.
