Coming from a dealer that's an even crazier deal.
-
Photo of bike from the back shows a 'the way the V is meant to be' decal. Previously owned by a WG member, apparently.

Ronnie's HD is one of the top HD dealers in the country supplying catalogues and parts on line for Harley owners. Harley isn't very good about making parts available to the general ownership population but Ronnie's is very good about making up for this lack of support. HD wants you to go to your local dealer for parts and repair. As a former HD owner I found this to be very frustrating. I was shocked when I got my Guzzi to find manuals on line as well as parts catalogues. I am talking about actual bike parts not accessories.

Phenomenal deal...Corbin seat is worth $500 alone, boxes and bags another grand, looks in great shape, hardly any scratches.
-
I would trade my EV for that. Of course they would give me $500 for it. Good deal for someone.
-
Kudos for adding historic information into the description.
-
sweet add-ons, Corbin saddle, aprillia mirrors, and a tank bag! Killer deal that one.
-
It's a killer deal for one of us... But to the rest of the motorcycling world, it's a 13 year old oddball "Who makes those?" touring bike with (to most) astronomical miles on it.
Hope it finds a loving home.

Whoa. Incredible deal. Would that I had space in the garage.
-
lets see,,,,I'm only 45 minutes away from Hartford and I just got a $1200 check from Uncle Sam, so realistically is would only cost me $1795!
Anything to be leary about on this model?
-
Norge’s from ‘07 are largely unreliable and not good for long term ownership or large miles.
I’d not go anywhere near it...

These earlier 2 valve per cylinder Norges have a great reputation for being capable of high miles. I can't speak for myself as I have a later 4 valve per cylinder model.
Huzo is pulling your leg. He loves his Norge and has had many great miles on it. How many miles/kms now Huzo?.
What I have heard over the years; some of the plastic can be fiddly, the rear brake can be hard to bleed properly. I would take this for a good spin and see how it feels. If all seems well I wouldn't hesitate. The miles are really quite low. There is a LOT of miles left in this bike.
-
Some 07 models had a simple fuel pump issue, easy to resolve. Problem was fixed in 2008 and beyond, but if it's running fine, I wouldn't be worried at all.
I've got exactly the same bike in 2008 format...absolutely love it...rock solid. Can't believe that you can get a bike for that price now, fully equipped with rear top box and Corbin.
I'm almost tempted just to buy it for spare parts, but what the hell, someone should snap this up, you'll love it.
Hard to tell, but it might even have Throttlemeisters bar ends on it as well...another nice add on.
Unless it's thrown a valve or leaking oil badly or some other obvious defect, check for a sticky throttle too, it looks like a great deal on the surface.
Enjoy!

From the pictures it does appear well cared for. I would love to get a Corbin for my 2016. There is a problem with the right front turn signal. It appears as thought the lens may be missing.
2995 asking - 2500 offer would probably take it home.

It may have the very soft spring on the shock, this was an issue... Not a big deal unless you are heavy or ride a lot of 2-up. My Breva had that problem and I have the heavier weight spring, just have never gotten around to swapping it out.

THIS is why I can't seem to save $$......... Glad it is in Mass. VERY nice looking Norge at a killer price.
-
I was thinking 1k tops! It's a Norge of all things!
-
Screaming deal! If it were closer to home, I'd buy it. These are wonderful bikes for cross-country rides.

So, I’d love to ride it a long way but, it’s too far away.. :undecided:

What's that ~3000 mi/year?
For the price, mileage, color and area (western MA), I thought I new it's original owner. Thankfully, no.
Hers' was an '08 - tinkered with and abused by BF's, auto mechanics an electrician and the dad. None of them rode. R3~

That's my dilemma...what's the point of 2 identical Norge's in the garage - oh what to do!! Instead of the donkey's dilemma of which bale of hay to eat, it's a Norge dilemma - which one to ride!!

The bit I thought was funny was that he said he thought it was a great bike to ride a long distance..
But he can’t buy it because he’d have to ride it a long distance..

The irony wasn't lost on me - very good observation on your part!
For some reason, this reminds of an evening out when I lived in Argentina, and the waiter said after dinner:
Senor...Would you like coffee, tea or a liqueur for an after dinner drink...
I said...I'll have some tea thank you.
He replied...sorry, no tea available!
WTF!!

Huzo and PR,
I wish long distance travel would be a bit easier than it currently is. Maybe in a few months.

when I bought my Norge it was in North Dakota, I flew and ubered my way with my riding gear and essential tools. Stayed the night and then rode it home 1300 miles and only wish it could've been a little farther.

Were going to see a lot of bargains as the logistics of travel and simply transferring the title are making sales difficult or impossible. Right now there's about 3 million unsold new cars and trucks parked and probably a million or three more late model used cars in fleets with nowhere to go- I've heard some rental car fleets have cut orders because they have no place to park more cars. The auctions have closed or are going to online auctions, which is transforming the business. At the retail level, those massive showrooms just add to the glut of retail space and acres of new cars are just a liability. The motorcycle biz is pretty much a decade behind the car biz in marketing, and is more seasonal- Here in the midwest the new bike sales year is pretty much over by July 1st. That means most motorcycle dealers are losing a year of sales, we'll probably see bikes like the Norge going for less than $1k before this is over...

WTF!!
And I'll bet they had a sign ...

It is a fair deal on a 13 - 14 year old motorcycle from a brand many have never heard of.
It is in the NADA value range.
If I were interested in a sport touring motorcycle I would definitely be very interested in this bike. Probably challenging to do a fly and buy in the current environment.
That corbin seat looks deeper than I have ever seen one. Do you think it is a "low" seat?
