I’ve been checking at coupler dealers but they or almost 500 miles from me I just wanted to get some kind ideal how + ilex for first service +cost of bike. When you have a guzzi in my area you just as well live on the moon. Rudy

For all we know you may well live on the moon. If you add your location to your profile you may get some local advice, or at least you might get an answer in the currency you use.

What dose the first service charge?
According to the manual on my V85TT Travel, the first service includes adjusting or checking clutch, steering head bearings, and the like, and the following labor intensive items
1. Replace engine oil (2 quarts) and filter
2. Adjust valves.
So that is probably 2-4 hours of shop time at whatever the local rate, but two quarts of synthetic 10w 60 (about $50) and a filter (about $20) so a reasonable cost range would be something like $300 to $600. Of course if you do it yourself it would save the labor. These are both pretty basic tasks if you are familiar with mechanical work. The oil filter is easy, one bolt holds it in.

He said his first service was about $350.00 but he had already bought the oil and filter when he took delivery.

This has been talked about on the Facebook group a few times.
It sounds like the cost of the first service has ranged from 85 Euro to $600 US.
I was quoted $400 at my local dealer, but in addition to what the manual stated for the first service they were going to change the transmission and final drive oil.
I ended up doing the service myself and noted it in my warranty booklet as having been done. I did have to pay $60 to have the service indicator wrench reset since I don't currently know how to get that done any other way.

If you haven't bought the bike yet, negotiate including the first service with your purchase. Ride the bike home, turn around and ride it back. By then you'll have your break-in miles and be ready for the first service. Hamlin also changed my tranny and rear drive oils too. Otherwise the book calls for that first change at 12K miles. He says that's too long for the first one. I agree.

Did the oils and filter myself...the rest was all labor..

Yep, this the new norm. After a while you stop noticing the service icon as a warning, just a visual reminder that you have already done the service.
Or keep paying $60.

Are you sure? Thought the c/stand was a part of the package. This IS the beige one to which you refer? Stand inclusive.

I think that is either for Euro version or something, and (shocking, i know) the documents could have not been updated.
The one I just got this week did not have either, I got them for $200 each installed, crash bars and center stand.

There is a USB port on the dash board, to the left. Factory feature on the TT Travel

The one dealer said $200 ea. Out the door. The other dealer said $600 + taxes out the door( they sell Honds as well)and his price took my breath away. They or booth about 9 hr. +. From me but the better priced dealer said would meet me half way & had a first service package for self service.Rudy

And there's allocated space under the seat for a second one. Don't know what's available from the factory, I just use a "Battery Tender" brand SAE-USB adapter to charge my phone sitting in the space allocated for the meagre supplied toolkit. Very necessary when navigating with Guzzi's MGMP (Moto Guzzi Multimedia Platform) running on the phone.
