Anyone have any ideas for lowering floorboards on a 1400 Cali? I find that my hips ache a bit less when riding with my Airhawk because I’m up a bit. Just wondering if there might be a way to do this on the “other” end as well at the floorboards. Maybe just an inch even. Looking at the setup it’s obviously not your standard peg lowering setup. I suppose there is some way to swap out to regular pegs? And thereby then use standard lowering setup, but just wondering? Custom raised seat might be in the works as well depending.

I had that issue with my Calvin and was ultimately the reason I sold it. I now have a 1400 tourer and do not that the issues of the boards too high. I looked into lowering the calvins floorboardS but it would have taken major fabrication efforts and I figure it would be the same for the 1400.

Thanks, Dan. Admittedly, I just glanced at the setup but the glance seemed like a lot of work and/or fabrication to change and so I was just wondering if my hunch is correct. I've had tons of aftermarket seats made for my bikes and that's no issue per se so I guess I'll likely go that route if I don't trade her first    Or, my furlough starts on Monday, maybe with all this spare time I'll order up a Seat Concepts kit and see how ugly I can make a gorgeous Eldo with my own seat design  :boozing:
