Title: 1939 BMW - is this for real?
Post by: Canuck750 on May 05, 2020, 09:35:25 PM: I don't know much about old BMW's but I would have thought one this old would be worth more than $9000 even if the sidecar is not original.

I admit I'm not up on vintage BMW prices but considering the prices that a good R69S can go for, that does seem like a good deal.

Post by: Perazzimx14 on May 06, 2020, 06:15:11 AM: I heard these models had servo brakes and the rear drives have a higher failure than the 1100/1150's. Then there is the characterless boxer motor that is dreadfully boring. I'd be surprised if anybody would want it!
