I assume that the seller means the steering stabilizer is bad, easy fix.

Been there, done that. I traded my 2000 Bassa to a guy for a V11 Sport. Worst motorcycle decision of my entire life. I loved the Bassa and literally couldn’t stand the V11 Sport. In a years time I had to force myself to put 100 miles on the Sport. I ended up trading in the Sport when I bought a new Griso 1200.
