Hello
Just replaced the stock Sport Demons with Michelin Pilot Activ tires [2017 V7 III Stone)
They are so much better on dry, wet and over the tar snakes--traction and improved confidence is great for me
Thought I would share...

+1
Run them on the V11EV.
Great tire that lasts a long time.
(I'm old, I only use the central portion)
Still lasts a long time.

I'm on my first set of MPAs, after several sets of PSDs. I am undecided yet - I think I liked the PSDs better, but as the poster said, I'm old, and don't use the chicken strips except when I have to. Ask me again a year from now.

I run them on my CalVin, even though they have the center groove, which is supposed to be bad apparently on tar snakes; I found the Active's to be a major improvement over the greasy feeling stock Metzlers.
The Active's feel much more planted on the pavement, dry or wet to me.

Everything is better than the Sport Demons...

Just changed original PSD front for a MPA at 29,300 kms (18300 miles) which was good mileage. Back Sport Demon only lasted 15,700 kms but the MPA at 14,100 kms run, is looking good for many more miles.
Lots of twisties around here and no I roads so the tyres get a good workout

Thanks for sharing. I'm using sport demons, might try those next time (they were my close second option when I opted for the Pirelli)

+11 for Pilot Activ :thumb:
Just put a set on my ex Convert. Front: 100/90/18, Rear 4.00-18. Purchased and installed last Spring because I thought I'd get the bike put together but it didn't happen until this year. Even being another year older they haven't lost anything.
No chicken strips on the rear and fewer than 300 miles on them. The bike leans in so progressively and predictably it's easy to ride quickly. Have read some horror stories about the PAs here on WG but these have continued my good luck streak with Michelin.

They were the second choice for my cali. My cheapness won out and it got Shinko's instead. I was planning on trying them next set. Ill keep track of others issues first though.
