I'm seeing a lot of ads for cars, boats, bikes for stupid low prices and listing from different towns for the same item and it looks like they hijacked some ones the Face Book page. So what's the Scam? Hoping someone will bite?

Y'ep. They want you to reply with personal info. After that they can confirm it with other info and do a scam. Reply and ask for their phone number. If they don't have a local phone number for the area listed, being very wary of dealing with them.

I have been looking for a truck and have been searching Marketplace a lot lately. I don't see any ads for vehicles standing out as scams.I have had a FB account for years but never been active...There are scams everywhere,it's easy to avoid them by just using common sense.

It's one of those terms like "Classic Car" or "Vintage Motorcycle" that's just a term that has whatever meaning that people want to give it ....
