Hello, I just bought myself a Quota 1100 but I do not like the seat and the windscreen. Is there an option on a more comfortable seat? Checked Corbin but it was not on their list. When it comes to the windscreen it makes my head rattle! I am 1,8m tall and if I rise myself up a few cm I get nice calm air. I can not cut the screen lower and wonder if someone have done some modefication to the screen that helps.

I didn't like the stock seat, either, so I went with a Rick Mayer seat. All is well now, with many 6-700 mile days in the saddle.
Mine had a taller windscreen when I got it, but I don't know which brand it is, but it works well for me.

There is not a lot of aftermarket support for the Quota. Your basically on you own.
I liked a lot about my Quota and if I could have gotten the buffeting and wind noise to be even remotely tolerable I'd probably still have it. Performance. chassis and suspension were all nice. But going down the road at anything above 55 MPH and it sounded like there was a ambulance siren in your helmet and your head felt like it was in a paint shaker.
I tried Gustafson wind deflectors with very minor improvement. Not sure of they sill even are in business??

One of my future upgrades is to have my seat reupholstered at a reputable shop I know. It’ll be 400-500 but worth every penny. That may be your only option other than getting lucky on eBay or the marketplace here.
Is your windscreen stock? I have put on an aftermarket Gustafson windscreen and hope to have the bike buttoned up in two weeks. Depending on which screen I like I’ll let the other go. The buffeting isn’t bad to me. Nor is wind noise. But I’m 6’2” with a long torso.
Maybe, and this might seem silly, look into an air hawk seat to get you the cms you need? Dunno, never have used one.

Many of the plexifairing windshields will more than likely fit your bike. This shield has A built in Lower part of the shield and they are extremely efficient in producing a calm pocket of air for the rider and passenger. I can affirm this as I have had many over the years. The last one for an 04 EV. Of course there was not one for a Guzzi so
I simply took some measurements and the shield for a 750 Honda Fit perfectly.

Pro-Pad should make your fanny happy and raise you up and maybe less turbule :thumb:nce

Turbule, great word of the day!
Consider Sargents, I've had good success with their stock seat re-foam.

I had the same problem on my Q, even after installing an aftermarket seat. The only relief I got was using an Air Hawk. It really made the difference between misery and comfort.
For a windscreen I used a taller Gustafson screen with a homebuilt extension Laminar Lip. Also found that using wolfman tank side bags stopped a lot of turbulence coming up around the tank. Like those little tank wings they sell, only useful for carrying stuff.

I was surprised to find Gustafsson still making 6 products for the Quota! Link: https://bikescreen.com/products/moto-guzzi-1100-es-quota-1999-2003
I have the +6.5" screen. They sell these with zero mounting holes and a drill bit. Kind of a pain to drill your own holes.
Quota airflow does seem to be a challenge. I took off my mirrors and that make a huge improvement! Ended up running 1 bar end mirror, which looks a bit goofy on this bike, but hey, Quota = goofy, so all good.
I am 5'10", 32" inseam, and up to 55-60 mph my set up is pretty good for me. But hit the highway and go 65-80 mph and the windflow is pretty bad. But that is compared to a V-Strom 1000 with a Givi Airflow setup (which is really nice). I was thinking about the Gustafsson GT screen, might try that someday.
Sorry no tips on the seat, mine seems to work well for me.

never had a problem with either of my q-bike seats ….. one stock seat the other is a Ned's comfort seat came with bike. With the extra travel on the suspension the seat is almost a no issue. Same for the so-called windscreen. if your creating your own wind on a calm day of riding I'm At 5'9" nothing but equal wind pressure all around and no buffeting or extra noise in my full face helmet. On those real windy days nothing is going to help you.
