Title: Use of power take off socket
Post by: Calidavid on June 26, 2020, 04:14:11 AM
In my 2010 Cali handbook it says that you should not use this socket on the move. Do they really mean that or is it safety BS? I would like to plug in my iPhone when navigating.

I'd say BS. Unless they put it under the seat like my Norge. Probably not safe to remove seat while moving

Don't they also tell you not to run into brick walls?

Isn't that socket down below the side cover? Would you really want something hanging out of that while moving down the road? Vibrating out and dangling or worse yet getting tangled up in the rear wheel?

Food for thought.
