Does anyone know the dimensions of the o ring that seals the fuel filter output neck to the “cup” of the pump assembly on large tank Stelvios?
Also does anyone know if it’s normal for fuel to be rushing out from that area when the pump primes and at idle? I can see it happening when the fuel level is below the filter. This is why I think I need to replace the o ring.

I'm not sure I completely understand the question, but I'm thinking it may simply be the pressure regulator. The pump runs at one speed and constant pressure. The regulator lets the excess bleed off.
On my Stelvio, small tank, there is a hose on both ends of the filter. I may be wrong so if I am hopefully someone will be along shortly.

Zoom Zoom, on the large tank Stelvios, the outlet end of the fuel filter presses into a cup and is sealed there with a single O ring. Moto International used to include a second O-ring with their replacement filter kit for improved sealing.

Yep, it does sound as if they changed things from mine.

BUMP- Does anyone have a Stelvio fuel filter for a large tank stelvio, and willing to measure the O-ring that goes onto the output end for me? New ones come in the box with the OEM all-plastic filter, and the kit from Moto International came with two o-rings.

Took it apart and measured, matched to nothing metric, but quite nicely to the US nominal inch “dash number” o-ring size 203.
McMaster Carr sells Viton and Fluorosilicone in that size. Viton is supposedly only OK with gasohol, which is all I can get in California. I ordered a package of each last night and they arrived today and both matched perfectly, so I used one of each and I will see how the Viton is doing at the next filter change.
