Title: Vintage Taillight
Post by: scra99tch on July 02, 2020, 01:29:27 PM
Well broke the second time in a spectacular fashion.  After the intial crack formed I had reinforcements welded.  This time the turn signal fell off.  Anyways I models up something and had it 3D printed by someone here at work.  Came out great, made from carbon fiber reinforced Nylon which seemingly does not fade in UV light.  I bought some of the original taillights the PO had put on, turns out they were high/low running lights and the single filament did not want to flip the blinking relay.  As soon as I installed a single bulb with a modified receptacle it worked great.  I'll post pictures at some point.
