Realistically priced anyways. DonG

I'm calling that fake ad! Try to get the phone number and "error" comes up. Who in Their right mind who knows enough to post ads on CL would sell for anything close to that price?

wow, I wish I lived closer.SP, why didn't you buy it?

For a boutique brand that never had high production numbers why does it seem like there is an endless supply of Eldorado's. For an uncommon bike they sure do pop for sale just about every week.
-
They were built to last and they never really fit into the chopper craze. DonG

O.K. everybody, back off  I'm going to meet Dan and see / probably buy the bike tomorrow. This never happens this close to home. I refreshed a '73 white Eldo back in 2006 for a guy and hated to see it go. Maybe I should start listening to the Yogi tea bag tags that keep telling me to " let it come to you". Anyway, wasn't on my radar but can't let this pass if it's as represented.
More to come, I hope.

Thanks for the thumbs up Charlie. I hope all goes well tomorrow. I have a really good feeling after talking to Dan the seller. Wonder how much this old Coot will sleep tonight??

SP,
I had a 73 Eldo. Leading shoe front brakes and Amal carbs.
Great machine,, loved everything but the Amals
-
I had a 74 ( I think ) with the Amal’s and single disc..put a set of mikuni’s on and it ran very well.vetter fairing with guzzi bags..when I had three kids in college at once I went down the drain...

Even if it's an old crusty heap I'm going to look at the next day, I don't sleep well the night before. "Kid on the night before Christmas" syndrome.

I know the feeling well. Unfortunately, it can lead to seeing the motorcycle in the flesh through a pink haze of hope, lust, and mindless optimism and turn out badly. For me anyhow!

FYI, I've decided not to pursue this bike. Would love to but the timing and finances don't align. I spoke with the seller last night and it definitely seems legit.

I have 4 loops with Amals, 2 have the original supplied Amals and 2 have newer generation Amals, no problems with any of them, although the originals only have 5000 miles on them. DonG
