So like a bunch of you, not super happy with the stock seat on the V7. I ordered the 2-up Padded Ribbed seat. Not a huge difference in height or width. But it's definitely firmer then the stock seat. Will hopefully get some time on it this weekend.

That looks very similar to the seat on my Milano, except for the strap and the actual seating surface. I was actually kind of surprised how decent the seat on mine is for stock. I have noticed the variety in the accessory catalog on the Italian site.
Anyway, looks good. :thumb: Hope it works out to your satisfaction.

I hav one of these. Managed to pick it up secondhand. I believe it was sold as the "comfort seat". Significantly more comfortable than the stock bench. Pillions prefer it as well. Well worth the extra premium. Some of the later V7's came with it standard. The solo seat on the V7 III Racer demo I rode was subjected to the same improvements - I'd like to get hold of one of those (at a reasonable price). A little more comfort makes a big difference over the long haul.

o I didn't think it was possible, but the "padded" seat is actually FAR worse then the stock pan. It's like the pressure points that were bad, were just amplified. I got about 10 miles into a ride, turned around and got the stock seat. Went back out and did 110. Still uncomfortable, but no where near as bad as the "padded" seat.

Only goes to show that all bodies are different. Try playing with the angle of the handlebars (& the position of the levers). A tiny adjustment there can have a significant effect on comfort. When playing with lever positioning, it's an idea to wind some electrical tape around the handlebars under the switch blocks, until you've finalised the best position, then once happy drill the holes for the locating bumps.

I scooped out my ribbed saddle for a better shape then inserted a gel pad and 3/4" of memory foam. Kinda hard to see in this picture but much better.
